About me

Eistear is a young singer-songwriter from Ghent. Her musical journey began at the Ghent Conservatory, where she studied classical singing and guitar. However, in 2021, she embarked on a new creative path by delving into songwriting and crafting her own songs.

What sets Eistear apart is her candid approach to songwriting. Through her heartfelt lyrics, she pours out her soul and uses her warm and captivating voice to tell her story as authentically as possible. She accompanies herself on the guitar and weaves intriguing melodies using the fingerpicking technique.

In May 2023, she released her debut single “All This Beauty”, which quickly found its way onto the airwaves of Radio 1. Her music draws inspiration from celebrated artists like Joni Mitchell, First Aid Kit, and Alela Diane, adding a contemporary touch to her folk-inspired sound.

Eistear is no stranger to the stage. She has performed in numerous music bars and graced well-known festivals such as the Gentse Feesten (Luisterplein), Campo Solar, and Dranouter.
